SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — 24 June 2026 –SuperChoice has announced a partnership with Muzeek, the platform that automates how live music and entertainment gets booked, paid and run, to integrate SuperChoice’s Super contributions API directly into Muzeek. This API simplifies the super contribution process by automating payment calculations, submission, and compliance checks. The partnership will support Muzeek users across Australia—including artists, venues, promoters, agencies, managers, touring companies, and festivals—by streamlining superannuation contribution management through a trusted compliance and payments infrastructure layer.
The integration arrives ahead of a significant change for Australian employers. From 1 July 2026, the federal government’s payday super reform requires super to be paid on each payday rather than quarterly. The Australian Taxation Office’s free Small Business Superannuation Clearing House, which many small employers have used to meet their obligations, closes on 30 June — the day before the new rules take effect. The change carries particular weight for live music and entertainment, a sector that depends heavily on casual rosters, one-off bookings and touring crews paid per engagement. As a result, businesses in the industry process pay — and now super — more frequently and less predictably than most other industries.
Muzeek provides software purpose-built for the music and live entertainment industries, helping teams automate workflows across bookings, paperwork, payments, collaboration, calendars, settlements, and analytics. As the platform expands its technology and AI-driven capabilities, the integration with SuperChoice will help ensure that superannuation obligations are managed through a robust, reliable API that meets Australian compliance requirements.
Muzeek selected SuperChoice for its proven experience, trusted market position and API reliability. SuperChoice brings more than 30 years of experience in superannuation technology and is broadly trusted across Australia, including by major platforms such as Xero and MYOB. Its Super contributions API is designed to support compliance at scale for allocatable contributions reaching super accounts.
“SuperChoice and Muzeek are bringing together leading capabilities from two specialist sectors to make administration simpler, smarter and more reliable for the live entertainment industry. By combining Muzeek’s innovation in workflow automation and AI with SuperChoice’s trusted compliance infrastructure, we can support industry participants today while helping shape a better future for live music and entertainment operations and superannuation compliance in Australia,”
said Richard Breden, CEO of SuperChoice.
“Anyone who’s run a venue knows the admin behind paying performers never really stops, and super has always been the part that quietly eats hours. From 1 July, it gets harder, not easier — you’re paying it on every payday now. Building SuperChoice into Muzeek means our venues, agencies and festivals don’t have to think about it. The people who played get paid, their super goes with them, and it’s all handled in the same place they already run their bookings,”
said Danny Florentini, Co-Founder and CEO of Muzeek.
